TERI: Improving agricultural productivity, resilience, and soil health

The TERI project integrates a novel root phenotyping method (Tomographic Electrical Rhizosphere Imaging) with mechanistic modeling of plant and soil processes. The modeling goals of the project include developing methods to relate above and belowground plant traits to improve breeding, analyzing plants traits and variability in the context of yields, and understanding how above and belowground plant traits affect crop productivity under a changing climate.
